card:Akroma's Memorial is a must for a Primal Surge deck in my opinion, my deck Primal Surge Rush! has a bigger variety of bomb creatures, its good to have a lot of elves to abuse Elvish Archdruid 's ability, but then you only have those 4 bomb creatures. Nice splash of black for removal spells +1

that's an amazing idea card:Akroma's Memorial! how many would you suggest since it is legendary? what i actually see in that is the haste. very cool.... but thanks for the complement of splashing black. since most of the deck is mono green splashing doubles would help, especially for that removal.

it's decks like this that make me wish Druidic Satchel was still in standard

I play a modern elf deck that's easily convertable to standard. I play B/G for Increasing Ambition and Diabolic Revelation . Three tutors is pretty much the sweet spot to get your one-of Primal Surge.

First off, get a Diabolic Revelation . Get the mana to cast it for X=3-4. Grab the remaining non-permanents and whatever mana elf you'll need to cast the Surge.

Next couple of turns, combo off. Drop your entire library onto the battlefield. Kill.

Deetoz ive tried that strategy, but unlike in modern, most of the meta-game is a little too aggro and this deck needs the mana that you would spend on tutors, on other creatures and means of protection from aggro. this also gives me more space in the deck for safty nets like Oak Street Innkeeper . not to mention that even without Primal Surge , i still have Craterhoof Behemoth who is still a win condition. in fact id say about every third game, i would win with hoof and not even use surge

You could sprinkle in some Hellraiser Goblin s to add to the face punch when Primal Surge goes off.

Deetoz damn right. ntm ill be getting a Craterhoof Behemoth during the surge or the memorial. like i mentioned before, its hard to work in other cards. they need to be a permanent, green or blue, and preferably an elf, to make Elvish Archdruid more worth full. so a goblin, that can get stuck in my hand as a dry card, that would remove other cards main board, could really hurt me.

No Cavern of Souls to stop the counters that land is a staple for any tribal deck.

Aye true that Cavern of Souls is probably by far the most expensive land in standard and probably one of the most expensive cards in Standard. XD

yeah. its gonna stay expensive after too since modern creature based decks are just gonna abuse it. slivers.... -_-
