Interesting suggestion, I'll look into it but it seems a bit slow.

Nissa revane is better than worldwaker in this deck because i almost never have 4 forests to untap. But thanks once agin for the suggestion!

But its 1st ability gived you the aggro you need early and later if you get me. 4/4 trample now. A bunch more later.

Now imagine that with what? 13 4/4 tokens with trample? Plus ur Nyks and caverns. Just an awesome suggestion for a mega overkill ending hahaha

I honestly think that Nissa Revane and Coat of Arms are not where this deck wants to be. They seem too slow. Nissa doesn't really do what you want, but Coat of Arms does have a little more power to it. I think some silver bullet type cards would be good, especially if you add a card like Chord of Calling, such as Reclamation Sage and Eternal Witness. Pendelhaven is a great utility land you should add, even as a one of.

Pendelhaven can't be untapped with arbor elf so nykthos and cavern are bigger priorities.
As for silver bullet cards, what are you referring to? Reclamation sage and eternal witness? Those seem more like sideboard cards.

It's always nice to have stuff like that mainboard. And I think Arbor Elf can get switched. It relies on you having a forest. What if your only land is a Cavern of Souls? It's not the mana accelerator you want, because it now restrains you into needing a forest for it to produce mana. Elvish Visionary is a good add. I think you should look at the mtgtop8 Elves decks. They have now incorporated the whole silver bullet approach, in addition to Chord of Calling. Collected Company helps with that too. You really should add a Pendelhaven. Nettle Sentinel is a good add too.

Very interesting. I still don't totally understand what you mean by silver bullet. Could you explain that term please?

Also what would you switch arbor elf with? For me it's a really important part of the deck, bc you want to play t1 mana dork and then t2 lord

Just proxies nettle sentinel and the results were awesome! I'm going to take your advice and add 3 nettle sentinels and another heritage druid. Nettle sentinel is pretty cheap, so what have i got to lose! :D

I had a couple of those in before, but they were replaced by Collected Company, because collected company is better against removal, which is abundant in modern, and collected company is often faster i think because you can get out some pump lords and then attack with the elves you already had, whereas the elves from promenade get summoning sickness and then they have to go to the hospital and--wait, what? As i was saying, collected company is also a great card--card advantage and then some! But thanks for the suggestion, it was obviously a pretty good one since i used to have the card in my deck :)

Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen was spolied for magic origins, could fit in when its released

It's interesting, and I will think about it, but it seems a bit slow and maybe better as a SB card.

I think about Craterhoof Behemoth like a win condition instead of Nissa Revane
June 24, 2015 4:45 a.m.
Nissa revane is not in here to be a win condition. Honestly, the deck doesn't need win conditions because it usually just plays a bunch of lords and then aggros out. Otherwise, ezuri or joraga warcaller get the job done. Nissa is here to help against aggro decks or fast combo decks where the life gain is useful, honestly its rare to use the ultimate, thats just an intimidation factor and a hilarious ability in casual play. Craterhoof is also a lot more mana, whereas i can cast nissa turn 3 and start gaining a ton of life.
