I put together my first build of this deck last night a half hour before the FNM. I ended up 2-3 with it. It failed miserably against Esper Control. Afterwards, I sat down with a buddy of mine and tweaked it. Some cards came out, some new ones came in. The original idea was to make big dudes, make lots of mana, sac said big dudes to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Initially he was a 4 of, but after the revisions, he went to a 2, along with a few other things, to make room for Rancor. Why make big guys that can be chumped, right? After a few dry runs with Elf Sac 2.0, we had creatures coming in with over 400 +1/+1 counters on them on TURN 6!!!! I made a 51/51 Beast token with Garruk at one point. Lots of fun, and with the right sideboard, I believe can be ridiculously competitive.
