Elsha Sunforger Toolbox

The gameplan is to tutor out Sunforger with one of the surprising number of budget friendly equipment tutors, and once it is on the field attached, you can cast any instant in the deck by activating it. You have counterspells, removal, protection, card advantage, and even some spicy hate pieces.

Counterspells: Dovin's Veto, Double Negative, Counterflux, Failure, Hindering Light, Ionize

Removal: Generous Gift, Chaos Warp, Crush Contraband, Oblation, Crib Swap, Dismantling Blow, Ride Down

Protection: Bolt Bend, Bathe in Light, Dawn Charm, Gilded Light, Make a Stand, Vanish into Memory

Card Advantage: Sphinx's Insight, Steam Augury, Heartwarming Redemption, Fateful Showdown, Dismantling Blow

Hate Pieces: Hallowed Moonlight, Honor the Fallen, Master Warcraft

If you've already got a Sunforger, the tutors can find ramp in Sword of the Animist, protection in Swiftfoot Boots or Mask of Avacyn, card draw in Mask of Memory, or even a threat in Runechanter's Pike.

Elsha is a card advantage piece that also benefits from all the tricky instant speed interaction, and can kill pretty quickly if unchecked.
