This deck primarily pumps out little guys and buffs them with enchantments.

Turn one should pretty much always be:

land -> Hopeful Eidolon or Soldier of the Pantheon

Depending on my hand I can then begin to build a big guy with Ethereal Armor, Ordeal of Heliod, or Chosen by Heliod. By turn three I should have the option of bringing out Fiendslayer Paladin or Fabled Hero both of which are potent as attackers and intimidating as defenders.

Heliod, God of the Sun is nice for his indestructibility, the relative ease with which he can be made into a creature, and his activated ability which puts out tokens and pumps Ethereal Armor.

Protection comes in the form of Brave the Elements as well as the activated ability of Spear of Heliod.

There is potential in this deck to drop Elspeth, Sun's Champion on turn 4, but it probably won't happen too often with only one Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. But nothing else needs to be said about Elspeth.

Sideboard for this currently focuses on additional removal in a variety of flavors. One of my favorites is Renounce the Guilds. Gift of Orzhova is another nice card to put in if you're facing a lot of fliers or need the lifelink. Plus, it pumps Ethereal Armor. I'm not entirely set on the sideboard but it is what it is for now.

Future Ideas: I'd like to try out adding a nykthos and a few copies of Blessing to see how potent that can be. I think the problem will be speed. I'm also running a couple Path of Bravery because after a few games I realized that I was spending a good bit of time with a life count greater than my original. We'll see how it works.

The deck was inspired from Abbner's White Weenie deck and user:JakeSlytherclaw7's deck:Heliod, God of the Weenies deck.

3-2 at FNM

I don't take any notes so I don't remember many details. But here are some highlights I do remember:

-Only got swept in one of the losses and it was against a GR ramp deck.

-Dropped Elspeth a turn early one game due to Nykthos, but I could have dropped her turn four if it hadn't been for a misplay.

-Won a game by pumping Elspeth to 6, had six soldiers out, use Elspeth -3 to kill a hydra and blink Aetherling, drop Brave the Elements for protection from green (opponent only had a Caryatid) and swung with 6 2/2's thanks to Spear of Heliod.

-Dual Fiendslayer Paladin's won me a game against R/B.

Pretty happy with the results. I'm a newer player so I frequently make mistakes, but I think I managed some good moves and got some help from good luck. I did make some changes in moving 3x Celestial Flare to sideboard, dropped 1x Soldier of the Pantheon, added 2x Path of Bravery, and 1x Hopeful Eidolon. Also switched out a plains for a Temple of Triumph
