I have a similar deck unfortunately I haven't post it up for people to see...but I would add one more Primal Surge for a better chance of drawing it, also another great elf is Ivy Lane Denizen which can give all green cards +1 counters.. i would suggest to eliminate some mana ramping elfs also, like Llanowar Elves I would replace them with something beefier like Talara's Battalion or another big creature like say for example Soul of the Harvest for some draw power or any cheap card thats as good that fits your budget...only reason because you have too many 1/1s and there are tons of cards that can easily get rid of them like Mutilate or Golgari Charm ...I'm definitely following to see this deck progress!

What are your thoughts on Genesis Wave

Hmmm could be interesting. I'll have to play-test with it a bit. It would have to provide more "sudden" victories than a 4th Craterhoof Behemoth or Garruk Wildspeaker .

On an unrealted note, I was looking for more cards to put in here, and the fact that even this deck couldnt make Nissa Revane work speaks volumes about how mediocre and narrow that planeswalker was. I'd love to see her make a comeback tho (and in the theros block it would be cool, because the plane has no elves)

Erm, you might want to put in another Primal Surge just incase you don't accidentally mill yourself. (I did this once with my looting deck). All-around good deck, so +1!

Primal Surge says you MAY put it on the battlefield, and if you dont, the surge stops. I'm thinking of cutting it for another craterhoof tho. Thanks for the vote!

You should add a 1x Akroma's Memorial in order to give haste to everything you'll play with Primal Surge and to keep some advantage in case your opponent plays Fog , Darkness or anything that nullifies your attack when you try to swing for the win

On the other hand i noticed you aren't running any Primal Surge LOL +1 anyway

Thanks! I've considered akroma's, but more Craterhoof Behemoth 's seems to always be a stabler win-con. Really all I need to do is give all my elves trample for a turn sometimes and that's more than 20. It's like a swarm of insects. Very pretty insects with majestic flowing hair, lol.

Didn't know about that card, lol. That actually looks pretty great for this build. I'm pretty new to modern, so I don't typically see some of the more niche cards. Going to playtest it. Thanks!

Kind of Ironic that I didn't know about the card that has half the name of my deck.

NO Coat of Arms ! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?

Oh god, that's insane. Doesn't give them trample though, and a reliable trample is what i really need as a game closer. At $5 per each one vs 50cents per Overrun , I don't think it's quite worth it for this particular build.

Still, that's insane. The amount of interactions is just ridiculous.

Summoner's Pact + Regal Force ?
Check out 'The Return of Combo Elves' by Gavin Verhey if you're looking for more ideas, I ended up making a proxy of that and it was so much fun that I had to netdeck :P
Somewhat confusing though when Cloudstone Curio comes into it.
Elvish Archdruid is such a beast though.
+1

After a turn of swinging with everything after a Coat of Arms hits the battlefeild, you wont need to worry about swinging, when you play with friends use some proxys if you thinks its not worth it, then decide which is better.

I might playtest Nylea, God of the Hunt , because I have two of them. I've said before that a lot of the times I just need a consistent trample to win, and Nylea is 1 less cmc than Overrun , and is a permanent. Doesn't pack the boost though. Thoughts? The devotion means she'll almost always hit creature mode too, which is nice. Dodges Abrupt Decay , Doom Blade , Terminate , and any target removal short of Path to Exile . I like it.

Pulled a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , so I'm throwing it in here, because why not?

Best Elf deck I've seen. Nice synergy. +1 From me

Drop the Garruks and replace them with Immaculate Magistrate . Use the Magistrate's ability to add counters onto your Joraga Warcallers, thus making all your elves absolutely gigantic. It should be a turn quicker and more powerful that Garruk would make them anyways when you ult him.

Love this deck! As someone who has a special place in my heart for elves; nothing makes me happier than seeing great elf decks! +1 of course.

The only suggestions I have are:

  1. May want to add Nylea's Presence to the board. It can give you "Forestwalk" against any non-green deck, draws a card (so doesn't cost a card), and can allow Arbor Elf to untap a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in the worst case scenario. Just seems to have great synergy with Elvish Champion and Arbor Elf .

  2. A good board option for elf beatdown decks is Wrap in Vigor . It can be used to protect one elf; but more importantly can help you survive a Supreme Verdict , Pyroclasm , or Firespout (as well as many other board wipes like Orzhov Pontiff , etc.)

  3. A 1-of Nylea, God of the Hunt may be a great card in this deck. She will almost always be a creature, can help you use up excess mana, and gives everyone trample at the same time. You can always trigger her ability after blockers have been declared as well (too kill one of your opponent's blockers, do extra damage, etc. obviously she's awesome with Coat of Arms too; but that's another suggestion altogether.

  4. Cavern of Souls and Mutavault are two GREAT lands in mono-green elf beat down decks. Cavern of Souls really hurts control builds (which will be one of your tougher match-ups). Obviously Mutavault is kinda self explanatory.

  5. Dryad Arbor is good in mono-green decks with items like Overrun and/or Genesis Wave ....it's also good with Garruk, Caller of Beasts if you end up with him in the deck after testing.

  6. Good mono-green sideboard options include Creeping Corrosion , Beast Within , Choke (especially good here), Vexing Shusher (if you don't play Caverns), Defense Grid (given your low amount of instants), Grafdigger's Cage , and Thrun, the Last Troll .

These are all just suggestions though. I don't know your meta (I just know the overall Modern meta); and the deck is great as it us! These are just things you can try in testing. Hopefully one or more turn out to be a positive result! Great deck!

I apologize to bother again, but sometimes Nature's Claim can work better than Naturalize only because it only requires you to hold up 1-mana instead of two. I promise I won't bother any more :).

CurdBrosBrewingCo - I disagree with everything you said except for Cavern of Souls , Dryad Arbor , and Genesis Wave . Sorry, not trying to be confrontational, it was just quicker to say what I did like. ;) But Genesis Wave I think makes by far the most sense in that deck. I totally missed the fact that there's no rapid output mechanic in this one. Shame on me.
