Elvish Onslaught Deck

Casual Mono-Green

shrap666

Green Elf Aggro deck, my take on a very common idea. Allosaurus Rider is the most versatile, and potentially powerful, card in the deck. There are a number of green spells that aren't 100% needed (mostly spells/creatures that let you search for a land to add to the battlefield) that can be exiled to get him out in turn 1 or 2. As your lands increase, so do his power/toughness. If you don't get him in early game, Elvish Piper can use her ability to remove his ridiculous mana cost. Elvish Archdruid and Elvish Champion buff your other elves, many of which are cheap to cast. Titanic Growth or Primal Bellow, when cast at the right time, can turn (what will appear to be) a weak hit, maybe not worthy of blocking, into a game-changing attack. I've seen this deck end a game on turn 3-4 multiple times, if all the right pieces are there. When fighting a control deck, Descendants' Path can keep your numbers up, so long as you're able to keep (at least) one elf on the battlefield. CHANGES: Removed Frontier Guide completely, as her ability is no longer necessary. Other cards build lands more effectively than she ever could. Added Song of the Dryads to take better advantage of Forest-Walk, Elvish Mystic cheap elf that adds mana, Wood Elves semi-cheap elf that adds land, and Return to Nature to add some element of control. Adjusted the numbers of all other cards to focus the build on building up numbers, adding mana, and drawing cards to keep the deck moving. Got rid of Titanic Growth, but kept Primal Bellow in order to get some additional use out of all these lands I'll be playing.
