Because I would play it casually amongst friends and I would play it competitively in local tournaments - am I missing something?

I think you need some way to draw more cards or you will run dry fast. If u want only creatures at least run Elvish Visionary.
Cavern of Souls is great card if you run one type of creatures... of course if u can afford it :X
Also you can check my elf deck: Elvish Druids

Huntmaster_Of_The_Storms, that was an error left-over from a bunch of editing. Sorry about that.
Meridion, what would you suggest I replace with the Visionaries? I like the card a lot, but they don't seem to improve on anything that I'm already doing. Don't forget how strong Sylvan Messenger is for card draw with this deck.

You would win much faster with Collected Company and/or Chord of Calling AND/or Throne of the God-Pharaoh

Thank-you, Bulldawg1310 - I've actually played several versions of this deck with those cards. I originally replaced Chord with Elvish Visionary and CoCo with Sylvan Messenger because mana for casting was rarely a concern, and I often got a better overall benefit. Its not uncommon for me to get three, four or even five creatures in play with Sylvan Messenger as opposed to the two CoCo might get me, but that only works reliably when I don't weigh the deck down with non-elf cards.
Throne of the God-Pharaoh is the one card I might consider lifting my 'all-elves' rule for this deck, but its definitely an option I'm aware of - that's why I asked in the forums to please not get away from the deck concept as it is... I'm looking for potentially better elvish options, not the same card suggestions that pretty much everybody is already using.
The whole point of the deck is that going with elves who do useful things - even if its not quite as perfectly done as other cards might - accelerates the entire deck in a more efficient manner; Heritage Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, Elvish Archdruid, Shaman of the Pack all work better with more elves on the board.

What do you do about wipes? Damnation? Wrath of God? Hell, even Maelstrom Pulse can be detrimental to your board state...co co will win games for you usually on the spot if you do it in response to these guys and can get a shaman of the pack...

I followed your link from the forum and you asked for input on your lands.
Blooming Marsh is better than
Woodland Cemetery IMO. With this deck, you want turn one and two drops.
Sucks to mulligan if you draw, say, a Woodland and a Nykthos. And it's probably wrong to mulligan any two lander. So Blooming Marsh takes that problem away.

As mentioned, I would drop the Woodland Cemeterys. You could either go Blooming Marsh or another fetch, like Windswept Heath. I also second the addition of Llanowar Elves over Beastcaller Savant.
You could consider Fauna Shaman if you wanted to help dig for cards like Ezuri.

Check Marwyn, the Nurturer i just draw her in Dominaria prelelise, hard to say if she is working good without testing.
If you don't run any land enchantments replace Arbor Elf with Llanowar Elves or Elvish Mystic. There are more flexible if u end without forest on board, and are considered mana abilites so can't be interupted. Arbor Elf is better if u want to run Utopia Sprawl or smt like that.
If u have plenty of mana Elvish Visionary are just free cards :)
2x Devoted Druid + Ezuri, Renegade Leader = infinite mana :)
