Aheb thanks for the comment. The transition was very successful. I finished 3-4th in a 37-man tournament and had several 4-0 at my LGS. Cutting the counterspells transformed the deck to a more Jund or Junk like deck. With War of the Spark on the doorstep this transformation could go even further. The new Liliana, Dreadhorde General and the edict ( Liliana's Triumph are very sexy. The new edict could be a strong argument even for other Lilianas, like Liliana, Death's Majesty . That said, i had always in mind that this deck should be a board control deck and not a stack control deck. the board control plan also fits better with the discard subtheme / combo subtheme of the deck.

Now that everything has been spoiled on War of the Spark how many cards do you think you'll try ?
In blue God-Eternal Kefnet seems to be a solid beater, Narset, Parter of Veils seems okay but I don't think you need a copy of Leovold's capa and the Azcanta power might be irrelevant with your creature count (maybe in the older version was it better ?) Same for Narset's Reversal I quite like it but not sure it will make the cut.
In black Lili and her spell could be good inclusions and Massacre Girl seems okay as a board clear on legs. Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage seems too weak on it's own to mee though.
In green nothing strike me Finale of Devastation seems to be weaker than Green Sun's Zenith
In gold Enter the God-Eternals and Tyrant's Scorn tickles me as control tools

War of the Spark is a special Set, indeed. While i did not Test God-Eternal Kefnet in the built yet, i think she could be a good addition in a more spell heavy build. 36 Instants and Sorcery are not enough, i think. Narset is not interesting for me, since her ability is already in my command zone, as you already mentioned.
Narset's Reversal is to weak versus creature heavy decks and is only "ok" in the late game. A too iffy card in my opinion. Massacre Girl as similar issues, maybe good versus aggro (thats a big maybe!) and awful versus control.
Tyrant's Scorn made the cut, especially since i was considering running Smother .

I see you've made huge changes in your build to adapt your lgs meta, back to counterspells and disruption tools ? Bringing disruption I can understand Careful Consideration but doing some research I have found this Wheel and Deal isn't it a better version ? Or maybe both could be included if there's engouh room ?
And about God-Eternal Kefnet I don't see only as a way to cast copies of instant and sorcery but also a good and resiliant beater.
There's two cards I'm not sure to understand in your build Nissa, Vital Force and Golgari Charm , I mean they're good cards but which mods are really relevent here ?

I like about Careful Consideration that it can target myself. I run some cards, that are not very good in particular matchups. For example Damnation ist not good versus control. I like to have ways to get rid of those cards. Being instant is another huge plus for the Careful Consideration over many other similar cards. That said, Wheel and Deal is a cool idea, i try to find room for the card :)
@ God-Eternal Kefnet : I totally agree, but atm i do not run both 6/6 demons and in my opinion being 6/6 is better then being 4/5. Its for me similar to running Gurmag Angler over Tasigur, the Golden Fang . The added bonus is nice to have, but often not relevant.
Golgari Charm is a great out versus many problematic cards. -1/-1 gets rid of an opposing True-Name Nemesis , Sai, Master Thopterist token, Loyal Apprentice and its token, many other red aggro cards, Bitterblossom tokens (or Bitterblossom itself), buying a turn versus Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow , killing a lot of cats in Arahbo, Roar of the World , killing mana dorks, etc...
There are also a lot of enchantments that are very problematic for this deck. For Example: Blood Moon , Hall of Gemstone , Song of the Dryads , Opposition , Treachery , Stasis , Search for Azcanta Flip (getting out of the lock), Parallax Wave , etc...
I think i have never used the third mode :)
Nissa, Vital Force is a good answer to a planeswalker, blocks like a champ, closes games and is incredible fast on her ultimate. The -3 is sometimes also nice, but not as relevant as the other two modes.

You mention that you don't run Timetwister due to budget reason, have you had any thoughts on running Echo of Eons instead?
July 7, 2019 3:54 p.m.
Echo costs 6, this is simply to much. I know that there are some discard outlets, but i my eyes not enough.

Kinda a weak card maybe, but Dimir House Guard can transmute into a variety of useful cards in your deck. I'd love to run another Puzzle Box in this deck. 3 mana is steep, but it's not as bad as Diabolic, and if you need it, it's a 2/3 fear I suppose.

Hey I've been following your deck-list for a while now and i'm wondering how the transition to bigger creature went ?
And the fact that you cut so many counterspells is puzzuling me, can you still control the game as you used to ?
