Bringing Esper control back into action with the help of the SUPER GEARHULKS! (Get it, Super-friends + Gearhulks? You know, cause they are my wincons? Man I am clever)

Main issue of the deck right now is keeping the same name for longer than a 3 days.

I hope you enjoy the deck, and as always any and all suggestions are welcome!

CARD CHOICE EXPLANATION

MAINBOARD

Aether Hub: This is one out of the two lands that's worth mentioning. It mana fixes early, and gives me something to use the Energy generated by Glimmer of Genius.

Shambling Vent: This is the other land worth mentioning. Manlands are always one of the best cards that a control deck can run as it allows you to basically run threats without taking up slots that could be used for removal. Anyways, blocks a few things, gains some life, and can get in some damage.

Declaration in Stone: This is only a one of, and depending how the format evolves the number may increase. Many users seem to think this is a terrible card to have in a control deck because you are giving a Clue to your opponent. I think it's fine, giving them a Clue in exchange of getting rid of a threat is no biggie. Ideally this is here to take care of tokens, it all matters how prevalent Servo token decks will be.

Fumigate: The only board-wipe worth running in Esper colors, or at least the best one (R.I.P Languish). It clears the field, which we love to do, and the life gained from it can help us stay in the game longer.

Transgress the Mind: Making its way back into the main board is the best hand disruption spell in standard. It his too many relevant targets to not want to run in the main. Not only does it permanently get rid of a potential threat, but it also offers information which is huge for control decks.

Ruinous Path: This is better than most people think. Yes it is a Sorcery and not an Instant, but being able to have the choice of blowing up any creature (short of Indistructible and Hexproof ones) OR a planeswalker makes it good enough for me to run it as a two of in the deck.

Anguished Unmaking: This is the catch all answer of the deck. The loss of life can be offset by other cards in the deck, and being able to remove almost everything short of man-lands makes this a good removal to have.

Anticipate: I still think this doesn't get the love it deserves. As a baby version of Dig Through Time it helps find an answer and throw unwanted cards at the bottom. Instant speed, low cmc, and gets you a card? Sounds good to me.

Glimmer of Genius: I don't wanna run too many copies of this card, but instant speed Read the Bones minus the life loss for just an additional mana? Yes please.

Grasp of Darkness: In my opinion the best removal in Standard atm, this is an auto include.

Negate: Some will see this as an odd inclusion in the main, but I have started to favor this over other counter spell choices as it let's me hit vehicles, among other threats, for cheap.

Dovin Baan: Slows down creature based strategies / shut off activated abilities, draws cards & gains life, and his ult locks opponents out when combined with Jace's.

Jace, Unraveler of Secrets: Slows down creature based strategies, draws me cards, and his ult locks opponents out when combined with Dovin's.

Liliana, the Last Hope: Slows aggro down / shoots down Servos, gets back Gearhulks, and her ult wins games.

Ob Nixilis Reignited: Draws cards, kills things, and his ult wins games.

Sorin, Grim Nemesis: Draws cards, pings enemies, shoots down walkers/creatures, and makes tokens (just kidding). Starting to see a pattern with all my walkers? All of them offer some form of "removal" in one way or another, and they all offer card advantage. That's all good stuff for control.

Noxious Gearhulk: This guy is especially good against mid-range decks as it kills a threat, helps me stabilize, and has pseudo-evasion so he can get the beats in if need be.

Torrential Gearhulk: I want to start off by saying that if this guy didn't have Flash he probably wouldn't be in here. He allows me to Flash him in as a blocker and/or reuse one of my 14 instants. He also has a very sizable body.
