The main combo of this deck is pumping up Bloodthrone Vampire, Nantuko Husk or Phyrexian Ghoul using two Nether Traitor s, one on the battlefield and one in the graveyard. Attack with as many sacrifice engines as possible, then concentrate on the unblocked one. Sacrifice the Nether Traitor to it, then pay one black mana to get the other one out of your graveyard; repeat as necessary. This also combos with Grave Pact to make all opponents sacrifice large amounts of creatures, potentially leaving them open.

Balthor the Defiled makes sure none of your creatures are in the graveyard for too long. Buried Alive pairs with this to get one of the big creatures out for added fun.

If you get both a big creature and Exhume in your opening hand, you can discard the creature first turn, then get it out as soon as you get two lands on the battlefield.
