Modern Combo Control Ramp Tron WU (Azorius)

Bolognese

Sideboard

U/W Tron with a twist.

Eldrazi have always been my favourite and I have been running them using Elf ramp and the Urza Lands as a damage domination deck for years now but I decided for a change.

This deck implements the Urza lands but instead they are now in a U/W setting.

The two aims for this deck are opponent shutdown and board domination.

The first is achieved with two things. First the Mindslaver and Academy Ruins combo to infinitely take your opponents turn, Mindslaver in itself a game saver at times, dropping an opponents scapeshift to target themselves with Valakut is a handy example. The second is putting out Iona, Shield of Emeria and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite by using Gifts Ungiven to search for one of the two (Depending on game state) plus Unburial Rites and forcing your opponent to put both into your graveyard and then re-animating them onto the field.

The Second is with the Tron, our Urza lands, plus Expedition Map, cheap cantrips and counters with Karn Liberated plus mass removal, to help us on our way to getting the immense amounts of mana needed to cast our Emrakul, the Aeons Torn around turn 5. With Wurmcoil Engine being a great turn 3 deterrent.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated and if you like the deck, give it a +1.
