This deck is designed around Heliod, God of the Sun. Probably one of the weakest gods out there. However if you build a deck around him he can be extremely good. He is mainly used as a cheap 5/6. Because this is a mono white deck its extremely easy to turn him on however. Vigilance is sorta meh but useful. His ability people see as overcosted trash. However, firstly it counts a 1 devotion so he can turn himself on but most importantly its an enchantment meaning it works well with Sphere of Safety and Ethereal Armor.

Hopeful Eidolon x4, 1 mana for a 1/1 lifelink which also counts as an enchantment. Can be used with Ethereal Armor therefore to make a 3/3 lifelink first strike on turn 2. You can even make it a 7/7 provided you have 2 ethereal armours in hand.
Ethereal Armor x4, 1 mana is very cheap for first strike and with the number of enchantments you have out there this just gets bigger and bigger.
Brave the Elements x4, 1 mana for protection against a colour for every creature at instant speed. Useful at keeping your creatures up on the field.
Gods Willing x2, targets so triggers heroic and a scry.
Phalanx Leader
x3, 2 white mana to cast so helps towards devotion and when you cast a spell on it all of your creatures get +1/+1. This is a brilliant way to buff all those tokens that you can generate with this deck.
Soul Tithe
x3, 2 mana for an enchantment which can deal with anything nasty your opponent has. If they choose not to sacrifice, which is common, then you are taking a big chunk out of their mana pool and you have another enchantment on the table.
Wingsteed Rider
x3, 3 mana with 2 white for devotion, flying and it gains +1/+1 when you cast a spell that targets it. This means you can get at least a 4/4 flying first strike if you enchant it with Ethereal Armor
Gift of Orzhova
x3, 3 mana with 2 white for devotion, gives lifelink and flying and is an enchantment. Useful way to get life back and get flyers
Spear of Heliod x2, enchantment with 2 white mana for devotion. Useful as buffs any tokens on the field and can stop you beng attacked.
Ajani's Chosen
x3, 4 mana with 2 white for devotion, when i cast a enchatment i get a 2/2 white token. Good for swamping the field. These tokens can then be buffed by phlanax leader.
Heliod, God of the Sun x3, central to the deck. provides a means to get a lot of damage down and create tokens + vigilance.(also counts as an enchatment)
Sphere of Safety x2, stops your opponent from attacking you since you have so many enchantments.
Evangel of Heliod x2, with lots of devotion this creates a lot of white soldiers by the time you get to 6 mana.
Plains x22, nothing to say here. I feel no need to take anything else.
