if you want to be able to reuse your lands, perhaps you could put in a Crucible of Worlds .

Ghostly Prison would work Ethereal Armor would also work well. I like what you've done with this quite an original idea. +1

Ethereal Armor would not. It can only enchant a creature, so while you could turn a land into a critter then enchant it, as soon as your turn ends the enchantment would fizzle and die. However, it would be neat to use as a sorcery speed Giant Growth effect.

I would definitely recommend more removal, if you want to keep them as enchantments then Pacifism might do. At the moment all the deck is doing is dropping out vanilla creatures which can't and dyeing before it can really do anything

Did you try this deck out in playtesting yet? It seems like a very interesting concept, though obviously unpolished.

Concerns:

I imagine that Maelstrom Nexus may not be very good for this deck. Two thirds of your nonland cards in this deck are 1-drops, so I suspect it might not actually let you draw an additional card, since you often won't have anything greater than a 1-drop in hand. It also only comes out after you have your 5-color capabilities, so that's a further tax on its limited benefit.

Abundant Growth seems like a poor choice for this deck. Since your lands are your creatures, to swing with them means you can't tap for the doubled mana, and to tap for the doubled mana means you can't swing with them. Even if you can "manage" to deal with it, I imagine that you can find better modern-legal cards that could fill the slot.

Comments:

I respect that you didn't include Genju of the Fens . It would be awful for this deck, and if it were here, I would have told you to get rid of it.

You have 3 Prismatic Omen , which is very important for making your deck work since it lets your lands tap for any color. Instead of the mess of colors that your lands currently are, I suggest that you try to focus on green and white (as you already do) and try to get this card out early as possible. I'm unsure whether you should keep it at 3 or up it to 4, because it's true that once you have one out, each additional one you draw is a wasted draw.

Are you trying to keep it enchantment-focused, or enchantment-only? If the former, Idyllic Tutor should definitely be here for Prismatic Omen.

Enchanted Evening doesn't seem like it'll help your deck, at all. Its only effect would be to make Sphere of Safety better, but that card will already be good enough when it comes out to play.

You might want to consider removing the entire playset of Genju of the Fields in favor of +1 Genju of the Spires and +1 Terra Eternal . If you don't mind sorceries, then put two Faithless Looting into the deck so that you can do something with the extra Terra Eternals and Prismatic Omens you might draw into. Else, you could use the two open slots to have Ghostly Prison in the mainboard. Honestly, Ghostly Prison should probably be in the mainboard no matter what changes you make--it'll be very good for your survivability, it doesn't lose value in the late game, multiples aren't redundant, and it's affordable to play. (The whole reason I suggest removing Genju of the Fields is because the 2 life gained for blocking/swinging with them isn't as good as blocking with indestructible 6/1s and locking down the mana of your opponent).

Are you considering better counterspells than Negate? Your opponent's creatures are largely locked down by your other cards, you might be better served countering their counterspells. While this is likely not the best counterspell option for your deck, I always love Guttural Response for its anti-counter flavor. (Of course, that you have Negate in your sideboard does mean you'd consider non-enchantment cards.)

Feel free to tell me how wrong I am, though. This is all speculation, though I'll test out my own version of this deck soon and get back to you with results. (I think this is a really cool deck concept.)

This deck is so awesome. I am super impressed with it. I never thought that this would work so well but I have been play testing it and it is surprisingly consistent. Great deck +1

oh snap snoochie boochies

but all they would have to do is let the board clear and sac it

i love the feedback thought thinking outside the box it's what im looking for, oh course i fell i should have 8-10 board wipes for complete destruction

linkizzl says... #11

Well, yes, but you are missing an important point: The board would be clear. For 1 mana.

This deck is really awesome. Maybe throw in a few manlands? Also maybe a few Sigil of the Empty Throne s for mid and late game? Also I agree with Grunni on increasing Prismatic Omen to 4 and throwing the Ghostly Prison s into the mainboard. Also don't see much point in Enchanted Evening . And yea Porphyry Nodes would be insane. Either way great deck +1

Have you thought about using Sphere of Safety instead of Ghostly Prison? It's a less expensive and easier to acquire card, and while it costs more mana would be pretty effective in a deck where you control 30ish enchantments.

rougeweasel says... #16

(Sorry didn't see you already had sphere of safety in there :P)

I'm curious, why do you have all the sac lands? Why not just put in some buddy lands or fill it up with shocklands?

December 24, 2013 9:02 p.m.

Sphere of Safety sounds worse than Ghostly Prison , as the prison you will get 3 turns faster than the sphere.Maybe as a one of it would work, but otherwise it seems to slow.

Nice deck! Truly! I had an idea to build a Genju but opted out for a similar build. If you don't mind maybe you could take a look at it. I call it The Renaissance. And all I can think of trying out for your deck is something like Explore. Fantastic build, redclaw.
