This looks amazing! Hoping for an update soon to see if anything from m19 would be worth bringing in to this deck.

Hah! No problem, looking at the rest of the set, I was not particularly impressed, the demon enchantment, Liliana's Contract was cool looking though.

SynergyBuild I think it's a crappy set tbh. Theres 3 cards total I could use, one is going straight in. One would need testing and the other is a "maybe".
Satyr Enchanter is going straight in. Amulet of Safekeeping is worthy of testing in a competitive matchup Chaos Wand would be hilarious, don't believe it's worthy of a spot. But funny...

I think the idea behind Amulet of Safekeeping is to go against modern and legacy storm lists, run on Tendrils of Agony/Grapeshot and Empty the Warrens. Sadly EDH storm normally uses Exsanguinate/Torment of Hailfire to win if they are an Ad Nauseam deck, or if they are normal storm Aetherflux Reservoir. Artifact storm lists use an infinite combo like Isochron Scepter/Dramatic Reversal, Paradox Engine/Strionic Resonator, or Grim Monolith/Power Artifact and Blue Sun's Zenith everyone to death.
So most lists wouldn't be affected in commander.

Excited for the C18 Bant Enchantress deck? I think they will be spoiled on the 23rd.

I have been trying to up the competitiveness part of the deck, which includes getting rid of semi-useful cards which where too specific and had a very limit niche to suit.
I've added the following cards after extensive testing.
Satyr Enchanter, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Linvala, Keeper of Silence Jeskai Ascendancy & Estrid's Invocation

SynergyBuild that's nasty, brilliant and super dangerous :p Usually I try to keep my answers in hand, often several turns, I don't know if I need more tutoring (can you ever get enought?) if so, at what cost and what for?

SynergyBuild: Amulet of Safekeeping wouldn't stop Grapeshot in storm. the storm player will more than likely have the 1 extra mana. even if they didn't, only the original Grapeshot would be countered, and the copies would remain on the stack.

LiliTiddies not to butt in and all, but that's exactly the point he made (more or less). So you two are saying the exact same thing :-)

AlphaAuthority: it really doesn't look like thats what he was saying it all. it really looks like he was saying Amulet of Safekeeping stops Grapeshot entirely.

LiliTiddies you're absolutly right! My bad, I didn't read it proberly :-)

It actually does make them pay 1 for each, I'll explain, though yes, storm is an ability that makes more spells, each of which target, and Amulet of Safekeeping as well as spells, storm allows you to choose the same targets with the copies, so it makes you pay one more for each.
See how it works in MTGO, I have played with it.

Hey! love the build. I had 2 thoughts/questions... 1, what does you/everyone think about Femeref Enchantress for this or your Tuvasa deck. and 2, How well do you think this deck would hold up against a fairly competitive, stereotypical Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck (recursion, force you to sac, controllish)?

LordKunai I'd say this deck is pretty competitive, I've battled several T1 and it's doing some good work. Against Meren decks I think this stands really strong. Always look at cards with these "tips" in mind when determining the competitiveness of a single card. 1) Does it have immediate value? 2) Is it 2 for 1? 3) Cast trigger/instant/single color CMC etc 1BR is easier than BBR to cast
Back to Femeref Enchantress - since it brings no immediate value to the table and has a delayed trigger (on death) it's just bad :)
bare in mind that this deck isn't up to date and is lacking in power atm.
Thanks for the comment!

AlphaAuthority Thanks for the advice! 3 more questions I have for you haha if you don't mind! :D
- Do you plan on updating it any time soon? I would love to see any new tweaks, be it new ideas or if any of the new cards would earn a spot (smothering tithe maybe??? :o)))
- I simply cannot afford to go out and buy some of those mana rocks (i.e. crypt, vault, mox) and i know there aren't really any good budget options, so what would you suggest (dorks or slow rocks or something entirely different)? Same goes for mana fixing (chromatic lantern in place of prismatic omen)?
- What cards in your maybe board would you really wanna squeeze in and what would you potentially cut?

LordKunai sorry about the delay, I've added the potential cards to the maybeboard. I haven't had time to thoroughly test it out on untap.in yet, but I will soon :-) I have had a little too much to do in the garden as of late.

I hope this deck will be updated in this coming release of Theros:Beyond Death :)

SynergyBuild I can't really see why you would go "full retard" on me now? You can't deny that the cards in mention are resource denial, taxing and disruption effects, aka stax cards.
My prison cards are the most iconic prison effects there is, aka prison effects.
It's hard to comit fully to one of the two, since theres alot of build around when it comes to apure stax or prison cEDH deck. My decklist could arguably be pillow forting as well, but pillow forting would in my sense of the decktype be running No Mercy, Forcefield, Solitary Confinement and Fog effects, hindering people attacking you or making is super inefficient to the point of losing the exchange in every way.
Don't be stupid, have a grown up discussion instead of using invalid and nonsense arguments.
