No, they would automatically get +1/+1. So you would keep them. You just have to have Master of Etherium out before you have out both March of the Machines and Mycosynth Lattice .

Yes, they would come into play as, and the ones on the field would be 0/0. As soon as they hit and/or the combo is complete, they get +1/+1. They stay on the field.

If you are still not convinced, look at Master of Waves .

I use to run a combo like this, but instead of all permanents being artifacts, I made them Merfolk. So that I could kill everything with Merfolk Assassin , lol. Using Lord of Atlantis as the stabilizer.

I like your turn everything into artifacts and blow it up! I tried lando the grixis way with http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/cruel-lando-all-your-base-belong-to-graveyard/ let me know what you think!

This is amazing. I have to try this, long live Simic!

But seriously you could use a few Remands on your sideboard.

nickiru says... #5

Remand ?!?

Mana Leak dude, otherwise if it is threatning, the enemy will just cast it again.

Yah, with remand you draw a card, but I would rather remove a threat. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker for example?

Found a better card for the combo I mentioned, Eldrazi Monument .

I guess it would be better for a token deck, though. Granted you could just sac any permanent.

@K1LR0Y: The goal of the deck is to turn the opponent's lands into artifacts with Liquimetal Coating and then blow them up.

Justice for the Tel-Jilad - I made my own version of this deck by changing some small things around
I changed the win con and added other cards to try and make the deck faster.

This isn't Cruel Control. Cruel Control is based on the card Cruel Ultimatum

Oxidize !!!

Nice Deck. I'm taking it as an inspiration. The real problem i feel when playtesting is, as already mentioned, the speed. I will propably add Elvish Mystic or Llanowar Elves as a budget substitution for Birds of paradise. That would allow for turn 2 land destruction:

Turn 1: Forest, Elvish Mystic

Turn 2: Land, cast Liquimetal Coating and transform enemy land to an artifact, tap Elvish Mystic and Oxidize

Sylvan Caryatid might be nice to protect from weenies plus the mana boost if you dont have the best opening hand.

Encroaching Wastes could be interesting aswell.

Against mono decks Splinter is the ultimate killer. I mean after all standard lands of a mono deck are removed it's game.

Ulamog's Crusher is unnecessary imho.

if you did put in Argent Mutation , how many would you put in and what would you take out?

October 28, 2014 5:07 p.m.

Cyrrus says... #18

Wow, that's a lot of comments to catch up on. Now that I'm back, I'll get around to it eventually.

kxc999, if I were to add Argent Mutation I would probably take out Neurok Transmuter since I really hate that card. But then you would lose a blocker/'damage dealer', and Argent Mutation can't even be imprinted on Isochron Scepter .

KCisSICKnasty says... #19

Good point. I'm just curious because I feel the same way about the Neurok Transmuter . I almost never use his ability.

Cyrrus says... #20

@kxc999 still, there has to be a better option. Maybe a search mechanic for the instants. I use Ring of Three Wishes in my Curse of the Blind Eternities, Budget Eldrazi deck but that has much faster ramp.

See, I took your deck idea and have been experimenting for awhile now on a way to splash red for maybe cards like Goblin Electromancer , Ancient Grudge , or Destructive Revelry . I can never get the mana to come out that i want though and shock lands are a big no-no with this deck since you want to keep as much life as you can while you get what you need. Ring of Three Wishes NEEDS ramp. :/ I cant think of any alternatives off the top of my head though. It's hard to mess with this deck because sometimes, it does what it needs to flawlessly (turn 2 liquimetal w/ destruction and maybe even a fabricate to grab isochron) and then sometimes, their field gets flooded to the point that it doesn't even matter. So, I figure, it needs more artifact conversion AND destruction. But, what can you really even take out? Dx lol It's hard to take out what you're putting in. x) I love this deck though! My girlfriend calls it "You're Not Getting Any Tonight". :P +1 by the way.

Thanks puimuri

btw, any suggestions you guys have for beating Badass Bant would be greatly appreciated! all of my best decks (most of which are uploaded on this site) struggle like crazy! FortFade is 1 of 2 people who got me into MTG all those years ago so finally beating his exalted deck would be mad!

+1!

Have you thought about Muddle the Mixture instead of Fabricate? So you can still fetch your important stuff for the same cost, but it won't be a dead draw once you've assembled your pieces.

Cyrrus says... #25

I like that idea sergiodelrio! But, maybe I could use that as a replacement for Neurok Transmuter. What do you think?
