My friend decided to bring a Consecrated Sphinx to the table. I don't think he realized what he started.

Combos out via Carnival of Souls + Skullclamp + Endrek + Creatures + eventually finding something to stabilize your life, or Ashnod's Altar + Initiates of the Ebon Hand + Endrek Sahr + Creatures + Dark Prophecy/ Smothering Abomination / Skullclamp .

Normally speaking you draw such an absurd amount of cards that a smart opponent will just surrender on the spot. However, failing that, you can end the game with minimal durdling by recurring a dredge creature until your entire library is in your hand or your graveyard, then casting Dread Return targeting Balthor the Defiled and then reanimating your library, finding either Gray Merchant of Asphodel and enough black devotion for a kill, or enough mana to cast the merchant from your hand.

However, that kill doesn't work if you have Carnival of Souls out. Balthor the Defiled will just reanimate enough creatures to kill you. So in this case, I like to try and find something like Endrek Sahr + Ashnod's Altar + Zulaport Cutthroat + Initiates of the Ebon Hand + Endless Cockroaches. There are a lot of different ways to go infinite with Endless Cockroaches. Just make sure you don't die to Carnival of Souls first.

I really want to improve this deck, and make it the nausea-inducing monster it was always meant to be. That probably means eliminating all the different win conditions and just settling on whichever one is the best. My gut feeling is that the best win condition is actually going to be Exsanguinate, although it is also the one which takes the most time to combo out. The reason for this prediction is Exsanguinate's natural resilience to graveyard hate, to the point where I could even perhaps run more brutal graveyard hate like Planar Void if the metagame necessitates it.
