was also considering swapping out some of the basic lands for guildgates not sure if that would help or hurt though

It is a possibility I've been thinking about but being able to end step lion could be huge turn 4 into turn 5 so i could have it out and monstrous. But I'm definitely considering the voice thanks!

The lion should stay also. It's just that voice and summoning play a similar role. Trying to stop counterspells from ruining your plans. The thing is, for 1 extra mana, the voice is a 2/2 body, that when it dies gets a token that's at least 1/1, and is much better against aggro and midrange. The lion is a great finisher and turn 2 play, so he stays. The summoning is a bit useless when you don't have anything to cast it with, if you have a prophet on your field, or you aren't playing against control.

Yeah maybe I can sideboard it or something it's just the possibility of making the lion burn proof with the extra +1 +1 so yeah ill probably replace them with either 4 voices or maybe 2 voices and 2 Inspiration to draw cards at instant speed.

Something makes me think that the prophet will not be all that useful. By the time you play her, your hand will be likely mostly empty of creatures, seeing how aggressively costed they are. Sphinx's Revelation is also a misfit. Are you trying to play fast aggro or slow control. Either way, some changes might want to be made.

Really like the deck. Have you considered Horizon Chimera , works well to extend the game, naturally has flash and can get you double lifegain off a Sphinx's Revelation

this is true I'll have to look into it @ joegio66 @ uargaroth I need a draw engine in this deck to prevent myself from having an empty hand this deck is meant to be balanced with aggro and control elements

Its a possibility but there is already so much enchantment hate with this block it can easily be averted by any color and I'm sure every deck has some kind of enchantment hate sideboarded

adding in AEtherize will really help with those aggro decks. i would also up the azorius charm to 3 and selesnya to two to help regain your life after aetherizing your opponent

The one thing I'm missing though is a win con. I see a few average bodied creatures, but trying to get an absurd board presence as a win con is extremely inefficient. You'd need more protection for the entire board because a single

I also do not rate voyages end. Cyclonic Rift is generally better, and has massive late game use.

Also don't see the point of chromatic lantern. If you're relying on board state to win, Rootborn Defenses , Simic Charm or some other way to protect everything is more valuable. Urban Evolution can be more impressive for the kind of ramp you need here, instead of revelations. Even Opportunity . I personally do not see the hype in revelations. Life gain is average, and in this controlling format you're likely to get syncopated for just more than you can afford.

As for a finisher, AEtherling is a go to. Works well with urban evolution since you'll need extra mana. I've had good results with Shipbreaker Kraken or even Giant Adephage if you add some populate.

Thank you for your feedback but I like the scry feature too much and I need the draw engine because I play based on flash and instant speed cards I was considering throwing in Detention Sphere and or Supreme Verdict though

Supreme verdict is a no. Without a definite win con, you're only real way to win is to overwhelm them with board presence. Supreme verdict puts you back to square one.

And then they'll drop a bomb creature on an empty board and ride it to victory.

I have never had bad feedback for Detention Sphere put 2-3 in MB

You don't need the lanterns for anything specific. If you want them for mana fixing, atleast use clue stones which can be used later to draw when you don't need the mana.

I don't understand why only 2 voices when you have 4 fleeces. Yeah hexproof indestructible is good but in a flash deck there's so much more you can do with the voice elementals.Also Advent is double green already why not replace it with polukranos. Since you don't have any populate i don't see why you'd put a more mana constrictive card in your deck rather that can benefit from prophet untapping and can go monstrous.

Also 20 lands? Chromatic lantern is good and if you can get it going prophet will be able to get you there but that will just be SO unreliable...

i can only afford two voices unfortunately, and i like having instant speed creatures, being able to flash in voice before they play an instant or an end step lion turn 4 to monstrous it for turn 5 is great. Im trying to find the last breeding pool and hallowed fountain that i need so i can have the 12 shocks but the shop i usually go to for fnm is out of them and its nearly impossible to get a shock out of someone for trade. this deck usually goes 2-2 at the worst it just needs some final minor tweaks until it reaches its full potential. I appreciate the advice but I'd rather keep the worms for instant speed blockers and end step summonings. the point of this deck is supposed to be tempo and flash rather then destro.
