From what I understand it contains cards from M15 and onwards. Excludes sets like Modern or Eternal Masters. Does not have rotation so it's like a Jr modern. Wizards hasn't announced a ban list.

I don't understand Frontier. What does CoCo mean and why is it bad?

Collected Company. the thing that ruined standard during Khans. Great card for modern though.

Tezzeret's Touch is what this deck needs consistant ensoul and bouncing back artifacts. Look at my modern version with cranial plating which just becomes ghostfire blade in frontier.

Hey man, I'm also building grixis ensoul,
As for the open slots, ornithopters work fine but another option for black is Scrapheap Scrounger
Bant Coco (Idk about human coco, but I'm gonna try it) is absolute crap, I should know cause I tried running it, looses to hardened scales 8/10 times. I use Dispel to protect my ensoul target, but I'm thinking of using Stubborn Denial for a catch all.
I only use two Tezzeret's Touch, and it has saved me a couple times, but is usually something I pitch to the looter scooter. I once used it on a Hangarback Walker and since it uses counters, it just adds 5 PT, and then you get the walker back, plus the tokens.
As for the bfz lands, I just forgo them all together, too slow for my goals. I run Spire of Industry and Aether Hub and 3 fetches for color fixing, because so much of the deck is colorless.
And yes, Bomat courier is one hell of a card ;)
Please consider giving my deck some advice at http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/16-03-17-lGI-grixis-ensoul/

Would you mind explaining the frontier format? It would help people you are interested in critiquing your deck.
