Here you find my pet deck, my homebrew near-perfected Orzhov reanimator. Not only do I love running black and white, but Innistrad is my favorite plane and will always have a place in my heart. I get a total hard-on for Innistrad lore, fan theories, and Innistrad-themed sets! If this is new territory to you, the deck works by cheating Griselbrand into play via Entomb or Thoughtseize , and Shallow Grave , Exhume , or Reanimate . Then we use his ability to draw cards and do it again, but this time for Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , and sometimes again for another creature. Sacrificing a Children of Korlis will gain us 14, 28, 56 or more life in the turn we combo off, heavily protecting us from aggro.

Card Choices

• Full Playset of Exhume and Shallow Grave , backed up by 2 Reanimate . Provides 10 reanimation spells for our big guys (and girls).

• 3 Not of This World , which can protect any of our big creatures for free.

• 2 Griselbrand , 2 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger , 2 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , and 1 It That Betrays . 2 of each of the first 3, that way I don't have to rely on Thoughtseize to put them into my graveyard if I accidentally draw them.

• 4 Chrome Mox and 4 Lotus Petal for easy mana.

• 1 Ghostly Prison to protect myself from further attacks if my entourage happens to not kill my opponent.

Hope you enjoy! This deck was created as a budget approach to Legacy, and also as a more competitive approach to casual, and as a decent matchup for modern. It is meant mostly to play in casual games.
