Enchantment (3)

I am liking the way this deck smells. The idea obviously is that with evasion or trampling or first strike, Inquisitor's Flail is amazing. And guess what? Evasion first strike and trample are REALLY easy to find in Selesnya. And cheap, to boot. The main thing I'm not sure about is the Loxodon Smiter. He's there because he's big, cheap, and might help against control. But he doesn't really do anything on theme.

Tuesday night standard event, yay.

Went 3-1, beating out a less refined Selexnya Aggro, a newbie orzhov player (we spent most of the game teaching), then losing out to a much more tricksy and consistent Selesnya (I drew like ass which didn't help), and eventually beating out a goblin control deck.

All in all I like the deck a lot, and believe that right now Selesnya Aggro is the most dangerous and consistent deck type in standard and it won't be long before it is the mainstay deck. I would like to have a few more ways to beat out the mirror though. Looking back I probably could have just waited until I had him out-positioned on the board and played a slower mid-range game. The flails, rancors and doublestrikes mean my defenses are really hard to punch through, and I can swing for some truly incredible numbers.
