I like it, but with so many amazing mana sinks I would include way more mana acceleration. So many of the standard mana rocks (Sol Ring , Thran Dynamo , Coalition Relic , Gilded Lotus , Mana Crypt , etc.) could definitely be worthwhile, as well as Gauntlet of Power . Yes the gauntlet can help your opponents, but when you have the ability to use your mana considerably more effectively than most other decks I think it's worth it

Also it certainly might not be financially feasible, but The Abyss would be amazing with Erebos, since as long as he's a creature you can just target Erebos for the destruction ability every turn while your opponent has to destroy something each turn

Why include Greed and Underworld Connections ? it seems to me like Erebos, God of the Dead already gives you card draw.

Erebos can get tucked. I don't want to rely only on the general for card draw when he can die or be tucked.

thats true. but how about replacing the card draw cards with tutors? that way it wouldnt be a dead card you drew if Erebos is out and you could tutor for Erebos if he gets tucked..

I might add a Demonic Tutor to replace Greed but I don't actually have one right now. I like Underworld Connections because it costs one less and saves a little face compared to Erebos, It also helps get his devotion up,

Crypt Ghast has a white/black hybrid mana symbol in its rules text, so its not legal in an EDH deck defined by Erebos, God of the Dead 's color identity, unfortunately. Looks cool otherwise, though!

The hybrid mana is in reminder text and therefore does't effect color identity.

Correct. Extort is simply a reminder text similar to lifelink or deathtouch, it just happens to have a mana symbol in the reminder text. Nice deck though. Mono-black all the way!!

I just want to point out that you are not allowed to have more than one planeswalker who shares the same name in commander format. I see you have 3 Lilianas'. I would suggest changing that because some people might call you out on this!

you are allowed to have planeswalkers with the same "type" ex. Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Sorin Markov in your deck, however they are not allowed to be on the field at the same time. as long as cards to dont have the same english name they are allowed to be in a commander deck

You should add Wound Reflection . It doubles any life lost by an opponent. Also, it turns Temporal Extortion into either an extra turn or an opponent killing themselves.

You should add a Devour Flesh . Just to add insult to injury.

@jacaramanica, I actually really like that idea, it seems pretty scary with all the drain life effects and shit in the deck.

Oh! Another thing I forgot to mention! You should consider Dark Ritual , because who doesn't like a turn two Erebos, God of the Dead ?

Where is Damnation ? I think it would be a great addition to your deck.

The white/black mana symbol is in parenthesis, so its a reminder text about how the rule work. It is not consideret part of the color identity of the card.
