Highborn Ghoul for evasion and devotion towards Erobos. Thanks to Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper and the artifacts he becomes a beefy threat pretty fast.

Phylactery Lich as a turn 3 indestructible mini-bomb as well as massive contribution towards the devotion for Erebos, God of the Dead. Supported by Darksteel Axe , Whip of Erebos and Lashwrithe

Skinrender for some extra removal as well as more minions.

Lashwrithe for quick artifact swap ambushes as well as it's a very strong card in mono-black. Also supports Phylactery Lich

Erebos, God of the Dead as a powerful turn 4 drop as well as the deck's draw-engine. Denying my opponent of lifegain is just a cherry on top.

Whip of Erebos to support Erebos, God of the Dead by generating more life to work with, as well as a ressurection device which comboes greatly with Skinrender for extra removal or Cemetery Reaper or Death Baron for that one turn damage buff.
