Commander / EDH* GW (Selesnya)

Maybeboard

A deck that is all about Selesnya Combos and Goodstuff. Saffi uses creatures like Blue mages uses Islands....

Depending on your board state, Saffi is extremely resilient, and can recover from board wipes in a single turn.

Major surgery required to fix this deck. You MUST get a sac outlet and protection for Saffi right away. Add in Idyllic Tutor, more draw, go down to 35 lands, and add another way to thin your deck. I think this deck needs two more spot removal and two more wipes. Since it can recover from wipes better than most decks it should have lots.

Gift of Immortality Value
You can sac & recur Saffi once per turn if you have Gift of Immortality attached to Saffi but you don't have any of the other recurers on the board. THIS CAN ALSO BE DONE IN EVERY OTHER PLAYER'S END STEP. You can take advantage of this for a Wincon, Value Card, and any awesome ETBs that a creature might have, like Elvish Visionary or Farhaven Elf, or Sakura-Tribe Elder's self=sacing ability.

The Hatebear King
The only cards in the deck that are affected by Gaddock Teeg are: Birthing Pod , Harmonize , Pattern of Rebirth , Defense of the Heart , Panharmonicon , Mirari's Wake & the 'Dusk' half of Dusk / Dawn . There are numerous ways to remove him from the battlefield for a moment, play these spells, then bring him back.

Tutoring
Use Inventors' Fair to find Birthing Pod , or else an altar or Desecrated Tomb.

Enlightened Tutor will get you The Gift likely as your first choice, then maybe The Pod, after that it would be siutational, anything from Darksteel Mutation to Aura Shards.

There are so many ways to tutor creatures I won't go into them all.

WINCONS
A few options to close out the game:
1) flood the board with tokens from Desecrated Tomb
2) build up Champion of Lambholt to huge power and attack in while unblockable
3) build up your whole board with Gigantomancer (on order) and attack in
4) go infinite and kill with damage from Blasting Station
5) go infinite and mill out your opponents with Altar of the Brood or Altar of Dementia

There are other creatures of these CMCs, but these are the ones you are most likely to search for.

The optimal situation would be to have Solemn Simulacrum out and you can find your combo pieces one per turn sac'ing it to The Pod . Note that you don't actually have to find a creature if there is not one of the relevant CMC, The Pod is still a sac outlet. Also note, you can bounce The Pod with Felidar Guardian to use it twice in a turn.

Karmic Guide / Reveillark Combo:

How Fiend Hunter & Leonin Relic-Warder work:
These 2 cards (along with few black cards like Faceless Butcher ) are broken, and their flaw has been addressed and not repeated since by Wizards. The issue is that their exile and return triggered abilities are separate. That means they are placed on the stack separately. So if you have an instant-speed sac outlet you can get rid of something for good:

Play Fiend Hunter , it's ETB ability triggers.
Select a creature your opponents controls as the exile target.
Without relinquishing priority, sac Saffi, pointing her protection at Fiend Hunter .
Sac Fiend Hunter , it's LTB ability triggers.
Stack the triggers so that the LTB trigger resolves first.
LTB trigger resolves, without a target in Exile to turn, so it fizzles.
It's ETB trigger resolves and the creature is exiled, thus permanently.
Any subsequent Fiend Hunter (from recurring it, blinking, etc) is a different creature, so it does not 'know' the exiled card.
You can also use these cards on your permanents, just resolves the triggers in the other order.
