I've been working on a few Merfolk Tribal decks lately and realized that trying to stick to U/B or U/W was likely wrong. The lak of an Esper Merfolk was keeping me from just going the three color route, but I feel as if such is neccesary. Ertai fits in well with the general theme of the deck, and a few other non-Merfolk have slipped in. That said, the deck is still mostly tribal and will be staying that way. Cards like Seahunter and Mirror Entity are just too powerful to pass up. A friend has been talking about making decks that contain 33 lands, 33 creatures and 33 non-creatures for a while now. I figured it might be fun to try out this formula, so that was also used while making this deck. Even with a low curve I feel 33 lands might be too few, but I suppose we'll see.
