As part of a deck building challenge and MTG gift exchange, I put together this staxxy Ertai, the Corrupted deck for someone else. They expressed a huge penchant and want for a super controlling, stax-heavy, Blue/White EDH deck. I put my head down and did my due diligence of looking through all of the UW commanders... and they all stink. None of them are interesting or cool (IMO and also in the opinion of the person I was making the deck for who just did not like any of the UW commanders), so I thought I'd look at commanders that were UW and something else. Then I found Ertai and I thought, well, enchantments are can be staxxy? I mean the commander says "Counter target spell" so that can't be bad... Let's look at it.

And it's super fun. This deck has some cool little combos and tricks, and not only that but I got to throw in like 5 of my pet cards I've always wanted to work, and if they ever would find a home, it's here. I put together this list here just to keep an eye on it, I may put this together for myself and update it at somepoint but it just seemed fun and wanted it to have a home before I sent it off
