I love aggro. So much so that all 3 of my EDH decks are pure turn-sideways, getcha damage output. So my playgroup challenged me to make a control deck, and while browsing through various control-oriented legendary's, I came upon Ertai in a trade binder. I thought, that's the kind of control I would want to play; creature-based counterspells and such.

White is my favorite color, RWG being my favorite mix of colors. Ertai, being Esper, gives me access to white. When picking out cards for the deck, I looked through the stack and saw Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Geth, Lord of the Vault, and others of the sort. I realized that I could make a perfectly playable Esper aggro deck with the components I had on hand, and subsequently threw the control idea out the window.

Favorite Combo's so far:Higure, the Still Wind + Conspiracy = unblockable creatures AND creature tutoring, which frees up my black tutors for enchantments and such

Ertai, the Corrupted + Gift of Immortality = reusable creature-based counterspell, with Akroma's Memorial I can use it every turn, and abuse ETB's from things like Karmic Guide and Sun Titan

Living Death + Grave Betrayal = All your stuff are belong to me

Enchanted Evening + Aura Thief = cause politics are real and I think the combo is funny as hell.
