Quick breakdown

Champion of the Parish into Gather the Townsfolk allows for a turn 2 3/3 beater

another turn two is Knight of Glory which will also transform CotP into a turn 2 3/3 beat stick.

Searing Spear is a good reach/ spot removal

Fiend Hunter and Oblivion Ring should be a pretty obvious why.

Odric, Master Tactician is good for evasion could possibly end the game earlier if you can just pummel your opponent.

Kessig Malcontents help for reach/cutting down your opponent's life.

Cloudshift serves to flicker fiend hunter for a double exile or with kessig malcontents for extra life bashing.

Hellrider serves as a finisherGisela, Blade of Goldnight also helps finish the gameCaptain of the Watch allows you to buff your soldiers and give them vigilance, not sure how I feel about him.
