Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is going to be my deck for FNM's and other standard events.

Any advice or opinions are welcome.

Most of the decks at my LGS are aggro decks, so this deck should be skewed more against aggro in the mainboard and control/midrange hate should be in the sideboard.

After playing 2 Gameday events and a FNM,

Mainboard:

-2 Devour Flesh

-1 Elixir of Immortality

+1 Dissolve

+2 Essence Scatter

Siderboard:

-2 Drown in Sorrow

-2 Gainsay

+2 Negate

+2 Ultimate Price

So almost all of these changes were made before FNM and gameday, the only difference is the devour flesh. I still had them in. The changes were definitely an improvement for the current meta. With G/X monster decks comming back, doomblades and ultimate price has become so much better. Control seems to be dying down quite a bit and therefor gainsays have become less relevant and negates are more useful. Devour flesh is no longer too useful as there is usually more than one creature on the board at a time when facing G/X decks. Essence Scatter is what I think will be a good replacement as there are a lot of creatures that you don't want to hit the board (Gray Merchant, Ruric Thar, Any of the Gods, etc). Reason for removing elixir is because with control dying out, there's not too many super long games where it becomes necessary.
