I've been playing a lot of R/B/W midrange control since Theros first came out and have been doing quite well with it however lately with the addition of both mono blue and mono black devotion decks my deck has been losing some of its umph. As a way to try and get more competitive again I am ditching red in favor of blue.

Rather then a pure control shell, the deck will play more like a midrange deck with almost the same creature base as my R/B/W had. Alms beast was a recent addition to the deck however has been performing quite well for me since the addition. It is another 6/6 threat for 4 mana and with the whip provides 6 life per swing.
