This is very similar to the ubiquitous esper decks with the exception of the fact that I choose to run Divination over Sphinx's Revelation. What may seem like a silly choice makes sense after playing a few games. As a result of this choice, I can't always have mana up on my opponent's turn, so I only run a total of 4 counterspells, but I make of for it with the plethora of removal spells that this deck runs. Another choice that may seem strange is the 3 Blood Baron of Vizkopa. This is largely based off of the meta, which I think can be attributed to the fact that black is amazing right now.
