Thanks! Yeah, I mean she's a bit of a wildcard. But I figure draw-fixing is nice. And if I have a Blood Baron or Obzedat out they can get straight through.

I'm really not sure about using Heliod, since verdict does not miss Blood Baron and he's your only other creature mainboard. Sure, he's pretty good defense, but 4 mana for a 2/1 is kinda meh. I wouldn't count on Precinct Captain too much, since your manabase is a bit shaky, since a good portion of your lands are going to want to come in tapped. You might want more Detention Sphere since Burning Earth could hurt you quite a bit and you want more removal for planeswalkers as well as gods and multiple copies of things.

Yeah I see what you are saying about Heliod, but he is there for the late game. I wouldn't put him out early ever really. Late game when I'm settled and controlling the board I can just start pumping out 2/1's with vigilance. I don't actually really plan on him becoming a creature. Another Detention Sphere sideboard might be a solid option. I'm doing something wrong though if I allow Burning Earth to hit the field. Same thing with having more removal. I have other ways of removing them. I can remove them early with Thoughtseize or just stop them with a counter. And if they do hit, I have a couple things to deal with them. The idea would be to keep them from hitting the board at all.

I like it except for Heliod. . . but If he works for you, go for it.

Mind taking a look at my deck? "Your aggression will be your demise"

Thanks! I actually I like Heliod in here. He is a good one of. Against mirror matches he does work. I'll check it out.

thank horseman!! don't think the +1 went through.

as for AEtherling I have enough win conditions between the 2 Blood Baron of Vizkopa and the 2 elspeths. I've thought about putting him in. Just not sure what I would drop.

I would try to find a place for Thoughtseize . Its one of the primary incentives to running black. Azorius Charm is relatively underwhelming in a deck like this. You don't have creatures to use the lifelink mode, the cycling mode doesn't make sense when you have draw power like Sphinx's Revelation , and the bounce mode is strictly worse than a card that would permanently remove the threat. I think you would be better off removing the charms for Thoughtseize.

I'd also recommending dropping 1 Syncopate in favor of a 4th Dissolve .

Sorry yeah, Thoughtseize absolutely. In person I actually have 3x Thoughtseize in the sideboard. I'm also thinking of dropping 1 Azorius Charm for an AEtherling . As for the counters, i actually really like the 3/3 split. But I have that 4th Dissolve in the sideboard for the mirror match.
