Sideboard

Eddited version of a Net-Decked Esper Control.

The goal of the deck is like any other deck, to kill your opponent. this deck does that by stalling your opponents and disrupting what they are trying to do until you can drop one of your big win-cons and win the game.

Shell:

Sphinx's Revelation: The backbone of the deck. This is the most important card in the deck and for good reason. It can gain you can gain back life to stay in the game longer and dig through your deck and fill up your hand with more useful spells at instant speed.

Supreme Verdict: An all-around board wipe that will destroy any kind of creature-based deck and protect let you stabilize so you can deal with your opponents creatures on an individual basis.

Jace, Architect of Thought: His +1 will hold back aggressive strategies and buy you extra turns that you need. His -2 will dig 3 cards out of the top of your library and let you pick a card that you will need. His ultimate can serve as a win-con if you manage to get it off.

Detention Sphere: Serves as a 5-8 of Hero's Downfall. Gets sided out in favor of faster removal.

Thoghtseize: All around hand disruption. Gets sided in against control and out vs aggro.

Negate: hits PWalkers, burn spells, and more counters against control.

Dissolve: An all-around counter spell. Gets sided out against fast aggro decks.

Syncopate: Can hit aggro decks and tempo decks better than dissolve can. Fun to hit opposing Sphinx's Revelations with.

Win-Cons:

Elspeth, Sun's Champion: She can generate emergency blockers and run away with the game if not answered. Also serves as a sweeper to hit big creatures

AEtherling: Almost impossible to get rid of when it hits the board. Always leave at least 1 blue mana open against decks that do not run a lot of removal and at least 2 open against control.

Other:

Last Breath: Can deal with Chandra's Phoenix and Voice of Resurgence and Mutavalt with ease. Sided out against control.

Ultimate Price: Another creature kill spell that is a cheaper but more limited hero's downfall. Sided our against control.

Sideboard:
