Everyone says that control decks are dead in modern but I still think they have a great chance. With the new card from Aether Revolt Fatal Push and already amazing removal like Path to Exile how can control not be viable? Snapcaster Mage to effectively give us eleven kill/exile (almost) anything spells, Torrential Gearhulk as a heavy hitter and a card draw/counter spell/removal smack to the enemy face what's not to love? We even get to steal from their deck with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and control their hand a bit with Liliana of the Veil and in the sideboard Thoughtseize. I think this deck can be amazing, and apparently recently Esper control has been doing good, https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/588258#online someone brought it to first place in TCG player states! My deck is built off of this with a bit more removal and a different sideboard, hope you all enjoy. Any thoughts/upgrade ideas are welcome!
