Esper Demonic Starfield - Adaptation

Casual WUB (Esper)

SecretlyASpider

Sideboard

I've been playing with and filling Charles League's deck since Baltimore. This is my current adaptation that I am running. The Sigils really eat up damage if I am unable to get Starfield online quickly enough. I've found that any more than one planeswalker is mostly unnecessary unless I am playing against very specific decks and need the life gain from Sorin. The card advantage isn't super necessary off of him because the pacts and the oaths fuel that well enough, especially once at least one Starfield is online.

The only games that I have lost, I've lost to my own Demonic Pacts, usually in turns.

For the sideboard: I usually end up dropping Stranglers as needed for more counterspells. Blood-Cursed Knight hasn't been necessary and hasn't seen play. I'm considering dropping them for more enchantments (especially auras since they get around Hexproof via Starfield) or for another Infinite Obliteration and something else to return a Pact to my hand.

Until you get the hang of this deck, it is pretty common to drop to 4-6 life and then stabilize before climbing back up. Don't be afraid to take early game hits.
