The Maindeck:

With the loss of hero's down fall utter end takes it's place as the oh shit I tapped out at the wrong time. It's essential for hitting planeswalkers when you don't have an ojutai to clean them up. It also hit's Hangarback Walker... The #1 solution to walker is Complete Disregard how ever spot removal followed by a sweeper can also work in a pinch. Although Dragonlord Ojutai has quite the reputation Silumgar, the Drifting Death is by far the most versital of the 2 dragons. It cleans up Hangarback Walkers blocks nearly anything and gives Languish and Complete Disregard a little more reach. Horribly Awry is to compliment Silumgar's Scorn to bring you up to six 2 mana counters allowing you to reliably counter on turn 2. Horribly Awry's a solid counter spell and hits the majority of the Teir 1 creatures, although it is completely dead in the mirror unless they run maindeck Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  . I don't run a full four Foul-Tounge Invocation in the main deck because sometimes it takes a bit of work to make it effective. The two Duress are mainboard for now although once the meta settles and it becomes much easier to guess what is in my opponents hand I will probably take it out. For now it hits a lot of the cards I'm most scared of... Atarka's Command, Become Immense, Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Crackling Doom, and more. I run cancel because I need more cards that can counter anything no questions asked. Before You ask I haven't bothered acquiring Scatter to the Winds because they are essentially the same card. You almost never want the awaken part anyways because it either 1) cost too much mana or 2) turns your opponents useless removal into stone rains. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong and if you are convicing enough I may fork out the $3 ea. for them but Ugin is much higher on my priority list as fills a unique role.

The Sideboard

I am a big fan of Dispel and after the relatively poor showing of Ruinous Path at SCG Open Indianapolis I'm going with 2 instead of the more conservative approach of running Negate. I feel this is reasonable as dispel is very reasonable against Atarka Red where as Negate is to slow and requires to large of a mana commitment to leave open. Because I'm not running Negate I am going with 2 Disdainful Strokes as they hit all of the non-removal noncreatures spells I miss by running dispel while also hitting late game creatures. Both cards are very good in the mirror. Dragonlord's Prerogative is almost exclucively for breaking the mirror although it also comes in against slower value decks where it's just nice to have a little extra draw power. 1x Orbs of Warding is just an excellent card. It prevents sac effects, targeted discard, and slows down atarka red to some degree although it is not effective vs the pump spells in their deck. Foul-Tongue Invocation #4 comes in vs red and any time it seems like it will be effective. Orator of Ojutai needs a little bit of an explanation. Although it is slightly worse against fast red decks than Arashin Cleric it has flying wich means it walls Mantis Rider and further more the same removal that Jeskia Black has to use to remove it are the spells that kill Dragonlord Ojutai. Because I am heavy on board-wipes doesn't seem like it's much worse against weenie strategies and the 1 extra toughness makes sure your opponents will have to work to get rid of it. Reave Soul is there primarily for jeskia as one more card that reliably kills Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   while also being relevant for the rest of the threats. It's can also be brought in any time you need to just jam in more removal. Surge of Righteousness is for any RDW style deck although it is also reasonable to bring in vs Jeskia so that you can save your other removal for jace and vs junk if they are heavy enough in black. Finally Stratus Dancer is for the mirror match and RDW although I am strongly considering swaping it out for Tasigur, the Golden Fang since I'm running an extra fetch and zero jaces.

Let me know what you think. If you think I'm missing an important aspect of the meta feel free to point it out.
