Sideboard

This is my take on Esper Control Mill.

We have 2 win conditions, Duskmantle Seer and milling. This is built to address more of our problematic matchups main board. We can address other matchups in the sideboard. Let's look at card choices.

Blind Obedience - Aggro builds with haste creatures get slowed down, A LOT. Plus, Restoration Angel can't block our Duskmantle Seer when it attacks. Even if this does nothing else but extorts our opponent, then it is serving its purpose. The life gain can be vital and just makes our answers so much more flexible.

Duskmantle Seer - Shockingly enough, he finds a good place in this deck. He's our draw engine and one of our primary win conditions. Most of our cards are 3 mana or less so be burned is minimal. Running 4 creatures allows more removal and counter spells that really brings this deck to life. He blocks better than Augur of Bolas and makes up for his wiffs.

Overall synergy is beautiful. Thought Scour and Psychic Strike help us fill the grave yard early. What we're looking for is Crypt Incursion . Basically, Nephalia Drownyard and those cards act as utility to pump our life total. We no longer care about Junk Rites having creatures in the graveyard as we can just exile them away. Aggro decks can be hit hard with the amount of life we can gain with the little bit of mill we do. Plus, Duskmantle Seer is a machine. I have not been disappointed with the results and with Thought Scour added for card draw, it's even better.
