Standard Competitive Control WUB (Esper)

Artifact (2)

Instant (1)

Sorcery (1)

This is my take on Esper control for standard. The game plan is to drop Thing in the Ice   then to stall with counters and removal until it flips. Duress is used to see what the opponent has so that Anticipate can get the answer we need. In the late game the deck buries the opponent with card advantage through Jace, Unraveler of Secrets and Ob Nixilis Reignited. The two finishers in the deck are Sorin, Grim Nemesis and Sphinx of the Final Word if the opponent is able to clear Thing in the Ice   .
