Trying to break the meta on a budget (where budget=only cards I already own + the 2x Fetid Pools and second Pull from Tomorrow that I managed to pick up 2 days after I built this deck).

I scrubbed out in game day 1 (accidentally conceded early game 2 against a zombie deck and got land screwed game 3). Lost to Temur Aetherworks Marvel (with Ulamog, Sphinx, and Approach) in top 4 on game day 2.

Main Deck Answers

I have found that Censor is not very good in my local meta, generally being nothing but a cycler, so I switched them out with Anticipate. Main deck counter spells are 2xDisallow, a Summary Dismissal, and a Negate.

Flaying Tendrilss and Yahenni's Expertise wipe away most threats from Mardu, Zombies, and Temur mid-range. The rest can be handled with all of the assorted removal. The Never is an out to that Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Transgress the Minds and Summary Dismissal should help against Marvel decks/control mirror.

And of course, my opponents can Cast Out.

Sideboard Answers

• Mardu: more sweepers, a Forsake the Worldly, and the 2nd Cast Out.
• Zombies: more sweepers + Void Shatter. Replace the Anguished Unmaking with a Cast Out. Liliana is way better than Ob Nix in this matchup.
• Aetherworks Marvel + Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger : Dispossess, Negate, and Forsake the Worldly for Marvel; Lost Legacy and Summary Dismissal for Ulamog/Approach of the Second Sun/Sphinx of the Final Word; Ceremonious Rejection for both. Sweepers are important for dealing with Whirler Virtuoso and thopter tokens, so leave them in. Bring in the 2nd Declaration in Stone over something useless like Fatal Push.
• Control: glhf. Dispel and Negate. If the opponent has Torrential Gearhulks, bring in Dispossess. Summary Dismissal and Lost Legacy for the opposing Sphinxes that will almost certainly be brought in by the oponent.

Win Conditions

2x Liliana, the Last Hope, 1x Ob Nixilis Reignited, 1x Angel of Sanctions, and 1x Sphinx of the Final Word were the win conditions I could find. I considered more copies of Ob Nix, but the life loss is relevant in the quick aggro-centric format that is currently Standard, so I decided to bring in a Donovan Bane. Donovan isn't exactly a win condition, but I've had people scoop to his emblem before.
