Sideboard Tweaks —Nov. 17, 2016
I've been stewing on the sideboard since Gencon, and want to try out some new options:
-2 Kataki, War's Wage, +2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. Kataki has never been spectacular, and I've found affinity is one of the matches where my main feck runs most efficiently (they play a lot of chaff that synergizes with key pieces. Phyrexian Revoker and Meddling Mage stop/slow thay nicely). A match I have had much more trouble with is Jund. It's generally a grind-fest until one of us sticks the last threat top-decking. Post-board, they just have better threats. Gideon dodges most of their removal (I don't think there's anything that dodges it all), and is an excellent clock.
Got access to a set of foundries and swords, so I'm going to experiment with a version running the Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry Combo instead of Geist and Thalia (Big Thalia)

After Gencon, I'm thinking of cutting Kataki, War's Wage from the side. I want to find a resilient threat that can help the Jund Matchup. Mirran Crusader is a candidate.
