Esper Mind Grind

Why worry about 60 cards when there's only twenty four, at most and then a bunch of fluff in between those cards? I am, of course, talking about GRINDING! It's not an official mechanic, because everyone over looks it's possibilities!First and foremost, every Dimir deck needs cards to deal with major threats on the field. Use the Black mana to kill off the creatures you don't counter with the Blue mana. Hero's Downfall and Doom Blade are both great removal with Cancel and Syncopate countering the obvious threats, such as creatures with Hexproof. Any good Control Deck, which is what this is, needs some Board Wipes. Artifacts are no problem, but Creatures are. Too many on the Battlefield? Drop a Supreme Verdict and annihilate them all. Bonus is, it can't be stopped. And who can forget consuming abberation or Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker ? Casting a spell? Grind for a land. Hit them with Mirko? Grind for FOUR! Bloody amazing, really, how well those two work together. That's a minimum of five lands each turn. Assuming, of course, Mirko stays alive long enough. Keeping to good a control on the field? BAAAAM! consuming abberation smashes face for untold amounts of damage.Draw power is needed, right? Of course. Read the Bones and Pilfered Plans give you that draw power. Pilfered Plans even mills two cards, while Read the Bones scries before drawing. You loose two life, but that shouldn't be a problem in the end.The last card, the coup de gras, is Mind Grind . X land cards? Early game not bad, not recommended, but still not bad. LAte game though, when you KNOW they only have five lands left in their deck, you grind them for ten, just to be sure, that's a game win right there.Go ahead and build this deck and tell me what you think. Constructive critisism is always appreciated.

Last night I tried the deck in FNM. I came across the serious problem of board control when my opponents dropped in enough creatures. I didn't have a Board Wipe. So, I'm pulling out the Undercity Informer and putting in Supreme Verdict as well as the Balustrade Spy altogether.
