Just a deck i've been fiddling with trying to get a tempo-ish feel with Geist of Saint Traft in Standard. I'm pretty pleased with this list, it hits the curve very nicely, but as always it takes some intelligent mulliganing.

I put Call to the Kindred in this deck because of the amount of hexproof flying around. Just put it on a hexproof spirit (Geist of Saint Traft or a spirit token with Drogskol Captain out, and then have fun with your free Obzedat, or Drogskol reaver.

Rootborn Defense serves three purposes: as a combat trick against aggro (Saint Traft alone is terrible for blocking), preventing board wipes against control, and populate works on Geist's angel token (free 4/4 flier please?)

For those people with money: replace something (like doomed traveler) with Snapcaster Mage and add another thought scour main board. To give it a more tempo feel.
