This deck is a midrange, caontrol deck that uses the boardpresense of Planeswalkers to win the match, mixed with some other control cards. I've chosen to use the Esper Colors, W/U/B, but you can use R/U/W, America, as well.
My chose of Planeswalkers: Liliana of the Veil, she is a powerhouse a soon as she hits the board because she can force a sacrifice, which most times will be in your favor, or make your quickly lose their hand. Often then not she will be the target of a removal-spell or such but that is not hard for you to comeback from. Remember, she can't be Lightning Bolted before you can plus her. In this deck she synergies well with:
Jace Beleren as he will let you have card advantage. Lingering Souls Tough use lose a part of the card, you can still cast it from your graveyard. Geist of Saint Traft Clears the path for him and minimizes the threats your opponent might have for him.
Elspeth, Knight-Errant I chose her over Elspeth, Sun's Champion as she is a 4-drop and has more relevant abilities. Her first +1 isn't amazing but it can make the difference in many match ups. What I find more exiting is her other +1. Suddenly your 1/1 soldier becomes a 4/4 flyer or a 2/2 Geist became more powerful then the angel that he summons. She synergies with:Geist of Saint Traft: See aboveSorin, Lord of Innistrad, makes her tokens a little more powerful and Sorin's lifelinkers powered up can make you gain a ton of life. Celestial Colonnade Make it so you can swing for more each turn.
Jace Beleren He's a early 3-drop that's gives you card advantage and possibly a game-finishing ult. Synergies with:Liliana of the VeilSee above. Might want to swamp his with 2x Jace, Memory Adept
Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, His best use is for his -2. This deck has a lot of small creatures from Lingering Souls, Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Sorin himself. Sorin's +1 is our only source of lifegain pre-board and can make the difference between life and death. They also make great chump-blockers XD.
The Creatures:
Geist of Saint Traft When I looked for creatures for this deck I wanted a creature that immediately was a threat but hard to kill. Geist was the perfect candidate as his Hexproof makes him annoying to deal with and his angel companion together deals tons of damage. Only downside is the two Thoughness which makes him vulnerable to some kind of mass-removal as Anger of the Gods and such. But with the tageted discard and protection we have it isn't always a problem.
Vendilion Clique, Oh Clique. This card has so much versatility. Use it on yourself to lose a useless card. Use it on the opponent to take away his combo piece or just slow him down. Love this card!!
Wall of Omens Draws you a card, and is an amazing 2-drop blocker. Win/Win situation.
Other Spells:
Path to Exile Just a two of but helps works against most creatures that exists.
Supreme Verdict Use it when your in a bad situation or to practically win against most aggro match-ups when they overextend. One more in sideboard just for that.
Go for the Throat is my go to removal. You can switch it out if you like anything other but it a removal as such is needed.
Inquisition of Kozilek, Damn that's hard to spell...
As this deck lacks lifegain I'm using this instead of Thoughtseize. It still takes a lot of key cards as: Pestermite, Deceiver Exarch, Sphinx's Revelation and more. But it can miss sometimes as with Birthing Pod and Ad Nauseam. If you want to you can run Thoughtseize but with all the damage from fetches and shocklands, I'm not sure.
Advice and thoughts on this deck is appreciated and I will reply as soon as I can.Still working on Sideboard...
