PRIMER OUT OF DATE AS OF 7/21. CURRENT LIST REFLECTS RECORD. WILL CORRECT SOON
This is an Embalm list for standard that focuses on gaining incremental advantages and eventually overwhelming opponents with large tokens from the graveyard. The pace of this deck is pretty unique, as your lines of play will have you constantly leveraging what your hand has for options. More often than not you'll be playing a very slow early game, as most of out early drops are meant to limit our opponents options while creating a slow bleed. Its very important that our lands on 3 are untapped, but past that we can make due with anything. We can often make more threats than most recent control decks can handle, and untapping with a Scarab God is almost always a win since he can be activated at instant speed. Most importantly I'm rebranding this a toolbox deck, as this seems to most appropriate thing to call the playstyle. Many of my games have come down to picking the right answers out of the deck to comeback, or even to stay ahead.

(Section out of date)
Sacred Cats are just efficient filler and are a simple way to hold off aggro in game 1. In later games vs control we'll often ditch themm
Vizier of the Anointed is incredibly important for our plan. The body is decent and it can give us some card draw for longer games. Most importantly it allows us to fetch most of our threats and answers as soon as its played, which gives us some extra immunity to sorceries and cards like Glorybringer. Worth noting that it also curves perfectly into an eternalized pouncer.
Dovin Baan is our alternate wincon, especially vs fast decks as it can pull double duty to gain us line and neuter creatures. I will address that Liliannas are often better wincons, but i simply don't want to calculated for double black walkers. Also worth noting that Death's Majesty reanimate doesn't do much for us.
