This is my Esper Midrange/Control deck.

4-1 FNM.

Made some changes pregame to side board only. Added in 1x Obzedat's Aid, 1x Cremate, 2x Aetherling. Took out an Angel of Serinity, unburial Rites, Jace, Memory Adept, and geist of st traft.

Leaning back now towards aetherlings in the side board. I prefer 1 angel mainboard since I try to control and stabilize more than just plan kill. Aetherlings come in against any deck non aggro pretty much. Aetherling just has such a hard hitting 8 damage a turn I have to keep it in deck.

Match 1 - Played Red/White Aggro. Nothing Special. 2-0

Match 2 - Played G/W Tokens. Nothing special. 2-0

Match 3 - Played reanimator with acidic slimes. I mulliganed to 5 on game 1 and couldn't keep up without card advantage. Game 2 I got mana screwed at 4 lands and his acidic slimes destroyed 2 of them on turn 6 and 7. Just bad draws lost me this match. 0-2

Match 4 - Played another reanimator. Won 2-0. Lingering souls helped me race opponent and Jace's gave me card advantage.

Match 5 - Golgari Control. Best match of the night. Won game 1 with 15 cards left in deck. had to deal with messengers and desecration demons a lot. Lots of mutilates to deal with my souls. Abrupt decays on my detention spheres when I played them on his lilianas. He Duressed a lot and appetite for brains. Game 2 - went a little quicker. I had 4 souls do about 20 damage to him. His thragtusks kept him alive for quite a while but I eventually took over with obzedat. 2-0.

4-1 for the night in 6th place out of 40 people. Only loss was because of ridiculously horrid draws 1 match.
