Esper's Thievery - Playing with Every Hand

Commander / EDH Artifact Combo Control Infinite Combo WUB (Esper)

Sentra

Sen Triplets was the first commander I ever ran. The deck began as just a basic control based Esper deck, but as time went on and I figured out what I wanted this deck to do, it became this weird control/combo deck.

Tricks and Combos

Mycosynth Lattice + Unwinding Clock will make all permanents you control untap at each untap step. The combo is surprisingly easy to get out with this deck, and adding Darksteel Forge and Leyline of Anticipation will give you an incredible amount of casting power and board presence.

Mycosynth Lattice + Sen Triplets will help you get over one of the hardest parts about Sen Triplets as a commander: Non-Esper Colors. You normally can't cast those cards because you can't generate that mana, however Mycosynth Lattice has a unique wording, "You may spend mana as if it were any color." This doesn't actually change the color, so it's anything goes with what you take.

Sen Triplets + Telepathy will let you know who to target and when. This eases the fear of unforseen kill spells or counters that can be stolen and removed with Sen Triplets.

Future Sight + Sensei's Divining Top will let you cycle through your deck easily. If you have Venser's Journal out, this can be a good way to increase your hand. Simply keep bringing out Top again after tapping it to draw the card. If you have the infinite mana combo, it's fully possible to keep drawing until you have whatever card you want.

Infinite Combos

I figured I would keep this separate. There aren't a lot of infinite combos, but since they are so drastically different, I found it worth dividing this and the regular combos.

Infinite One-Sided Boardwipes
Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk is an absolutely devastating board wipe for all parties except yourself. Since everything is an artifact, and yours are indestructible, you lost nothing. What's even worse is that lands are now artifacts, meaning you destroy all your opponent's mana pools. Nevinyrral's Disk also does not have a sacrifice cost. Since it's indestructible, it doesn't destroy itself, meaning you can use this combo every time it's untapped.

Infinite Mana
Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth is a pretty simple and common infinite mana combo. Simply copy Basalt Monolith's effect for which in total generates . Then, pay to untap. This can be repeated, and yields a positive net worth. If you have Mycosynth Lattice then the mana can be spent for anything.

Infinite Turns
Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve will allow you to keep activating Time Sieve indefinitely, as long as you have access to the mana. Simply sacrifice all five thopter tokens and summon Thopter Assembly. This does require a bit of mana, but as long as you keep the combo up you have plenty of time to increase your mana pool.
