EDIT: (3/20/2012) updated list. wish it was just a hair faster. would really like to main board the lodestone golems except (1) it would mean taking out the transmuters and probably the shimmer myrs and those are the funnest cards in the deck, and (2) lodestone golem is not the most casual of cards.
EDIT: (3/8/2012) This deck started out as a version of JVL's Transmuter deck. As of late, JVL and I have taken different approaches towards handling Master Transmuter and this is my latest deck. Esperzoa provides the engine with a bigger body and cheaper mana cost than the Transmuters (I have opted to leave two Transmuters in). The big guys, Paltinum Emperion, Myr Battlesphere and Razormane Masticore, are interchangeable with any of the others in the sideboard. I really like the Masticore in this deck. The interaction with Sharuum and the Scarecrones is nice -- a board with Esperzoa, Razormane Masticore, and Sharuum is especially fun and devistating. The free lightning bolt from the Masticore is really nice in colors that otherwise wouldn't have access to it.
If you try a deck like this, don't overlook the pump ability on Grand Architect. Turning a Razormane Masticore into a 6/6 first strike is really nice when opponents are dropping titans. Also, he can pump Lodestone Golems and Sphinx Summoners out of lightning bolt range. Turn two signet into turn three Architect + Esperzoa is really nice as a 5/4 flyer on turn three can stop a lot of aggro decks in their tracks.
This deck is very much a casual deck, albeit a pretty good one. Obvious upgrades would include wurmcoil engine and sphinx of the steel wind (I just don't think those are very casual cards; so, I've left them out).
Suggestions/comments (and +1's) are welcome.
