What about a Mindcrank ? It goes infinite with Bloodchief Ascension and you'll mill them all the freaking time. I think it would be hilarious.

the only problem with running an infinite that can be put down on turn two is that you are extreamly likely to draw alot of attention.

Also I feel like Black Vise is a weak card if you mostly play multiplayer.

i have to agree however i would save the slot for the new card coming in the next set. the 4 drop that damages ops on draw

I suppose I could pull Black Vise for Tunnel Vision for now. Combined with Spell Crumple or Hinder (both of which get played in commander, not just by me) it's an instant kill. It's either that or Thran Dynamo or maybe one of the Lilianas. Dark Realms is good for making tons of mana but that shouldn't be much of an issue with all the card draw. Veil of course if just a powerhouse.

Psychic Spiral seems too expensive to be worthwhile.
Otherworld Atlas seems too slow to justify its mana cost.
Stormbreath Dragon is underwhelming.

Have you tested the mana base? If you can cram some more fetches in there, you could drop the pain and filter lands. Crucible of Worlds would also become viable.

I do not own (and really don't want to pay for) Onslaught fetches. Mana Vault is in there; I have been actively trying to trade for a Mana Crypt for a while but may end up biting it and just paying for one, same goes for Vampiric Tutor . Vandalblast is awesome, and I own Toxic Deluge and Stranglehold I just hadn't decided they were better than another card in here. Psychic Spiral was basically to keep me from milling myself to death, but with Elixir of Immortality I have at least one way to do that. The Stormbreath Dragon seemed like monstrous = win but the odds of him surviving that long are probably not great, and fewer creatures is a good thing with Breathstealer's Crypt .

Yeah so I went ahead and ordered the tutor and crypt, so they'll go in places of Black Vise and Psychic Spiral once they arrive.

Still waiting on Vampiric Tutor , but the Mana Crypt arrived so it's in there. Picked up a foil Iron Maiden (UP THE IRONS!!) to replace Black Vise . Also removed Jace, Memory Adept for now along with Time Spiral to plug in a Horn of Greed and Phyrexian Metamorph which can copy artifacts as well as creatures, so that can be a double Iron Maiden or Font of Mythos or whatever else I like. Gonna get some play time this weekend, should be fun!

Made a few card changes after a long weekend of EDH. The Vampiric Tutor showed up, so that went in and Horn of Greed came out. Also removed the Crosis's Catacombs for a Creeping Tar Pit as the bounce a land to your hand from the lair just really sucks. Also (despite my earlier statement) I blew the money on a couple of Onslaught fetches - Polluted Delta and Bloodstained Mire , so they are now present.

Right now I think Jace Beleren is pretty underwhelming, but as an early draw engine he's okay. Also not sure if it's worth a card slot for Darksteel Plate but until I get something better it's a nice way to keep Nekusar from dying from board wipes.

I'm completely lacking in targeted removal. Presumably Terminate would work well here. Maybe Go for the Throat ? What to remove for them and are they worth the slots?

I think you'd get more mileage out of your land base if you cut the filter, pain, man, and fast lands for basics and added Crucible of Worlds . That way, your fetches can do a lot more work. Also, you should be running nine fetches if you have the budget. The only one that doesn't help you is Windswept Heath .

I'll see if I can get hold of Flooded Strand and Wooded Foothills . I have no idea why I didn't stick a Marsh Flats in there sooner, but I own a playset so just an oversight on my part. I'll try and pick up Crucible of Worlds as well.
