Trying out more ways to build Brago, this time without stax so my friends dont hate me as much :)

Get mana and card advantage early with cheap rocks and draw, protect Brago while he gains you more advantage by blinking ETBs, tutor the combo pieces and win. I would like to get it as consistent as possible without utilizing stax.

Key Combos

• Brago, King Eternal + Sol Ring + Strionic Resonator = Infinite copies of Brago's trigger to combine with:
  • Codex Shredder mills every opponent that isn't running a graveyard shuffler like Blightsteel Colossus
  • Detention Sphere one-sided nonland permanent removal
  • Reality Acid sacrifices every enemy permanent
  • Parallax Tide one-sided land removal
  • Parallax Wave one-sided creature removal
  • Aether Channeler bounces all enemy nonland permanents, draws out your entire deck and creates {INFINITY} tokens
  • Venser, Shaper Savant bounces every enemy permanent on the table. Thanks to flash we can play him any time we draw him during the combo
  • Any draw ETB permanent to draw out the deck + Thassa's Oracle
  • Note: Sol Ring can be replaced with any combination of mana rocks that can produce {2}
  • Note: Lithoform Engine is the more expensive version of Strionic Resonator, same result for {2} more mana to put it in play. There are some cases where the other copy abilities from Lithoform Engine are useful though.
• Felidar Guardian + Parallax Wave = Infinite creature ETB triggers without needing Brago, King Eternal or Strionic Resonator/Lithoform Engine
  • Venser, Shaper Savant
  • Any draw ETB creature + Thassa's Oracle
  • Aether Channeler
  • Note: You can also use this combo to save your creatures from removal

Considerations

• Is the mana base too greedy for a consistent Arcum's Astrolabe?
• Even more counter spells
• More 2 cost draw ETB
