For my first ever Magic game, I was handed the Eternal Siege intro pack deck from Alara Reborn. My friend was kind enough to give it to me after the afternoon and my addiction was born.

I really liked the versatility of Qasali Pridemage and the Cascade effect from Enlisted Wurm to start with and added as many of the efficient green/white cards from that block as possible.

I haven't really changed the deck much, as it has sentimental value as my very first deck, but when I see something that belongs in there I try to make room.
